- Commercial information: Subscription history, billing records, payment method (last four digits only).
- Internet activity: Browser type, pages visited, feature usage, log data.
- Professional information: Business name, marina name, job title (if provided).
- Geolocation: Approximate location derived from IP address.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and improve the HarborDesk platform.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Communicate about your account and provide support.
- Ensure security and prevent fraud.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
HarborDesk does not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We only share data with service providers strictly necessary to operate the platform, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Your California Privacy Rights
As a California resident, you have the right to:
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the business purpose, and the third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Since we do not sell or share data for advertising, this right does not require action on your part.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
6. How to Submit a Request
You can exercise your rights by:
- Emailing us at support@harbordesk.app with the subject line “CCPA Request.”
- Using the data export and account deletion features in your account settings.
We will verify your identity before processing your request. We respond to verified requests within 45 days. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the extension and the reason.
7. Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a CCPA request on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide written authorization from the consumer and verify their own identity. We may contact you directly to confirm the request.
